2ND TIME: CABONGAOAN BEACH AND BRGY. ILIO-ILIO

March 25, Friday

It's been a while since the last time I went to the beach. At first, I was planning to go to Bicol to visit Puraran Beach...But due to limited seats I wasn't able to make it. So, here's my Plan B.

I brought my friends with me to enjoy the beach and so that I won't be alone this time. The schedules for the Alaminos trip in Victory Liner changed due to the Holiday. So, we went to Victory Liner as early as 10:00pm just to make sure if there would be a 12am trip or not as the operator is uncertain of the time of departure.

As I have confirmed, the first trip is 2:00am. So we bought our tickets to reserve our seats for the 2:00am trip and then we ate our late dinner nearby the station.

March 26, Saturday
At exactly 2:00am, when we went back to the station, the bus was full! So thank God we bought our tickets. Because the seats we bought are being taken by others who weren't able to reserve it and thought they can just take it without checking if the seats were already taken.

Alright, as we left around 2:15am, we arrived at the Alaminos station at around 7:00am. The travel period took about 5 hoursOnce we landed at the Alaminos Station we went straight to the wet market and bought the things we needed for 2 days at the beach.

After the wet market, we went back to the Alaminos Bus Station to wait for the Sta Cruz Bus going to Burgos. The fare is 30PHP (Adult) and 15PHP (Child). The Travel period from Alaminos to Burgos is 30 - 45 minutes.

By 8:30am, we're already at Burgos. We called a tricycle ride there going to Cabongaoan. We were quoted for a fare of 300PHP. The travel period from Burgos to Cabo Beach is roughly around 45 minutes to 1 hr.

So around 10:00am, we arrived at the beach and there's a lot of people!

Upon looking for a cottage, Luckily, we found one. And the owner also allowed us to rent their Kubo to stay in. Fare offered 1,000PHP / per night. They have their own CR, but it's a local CR. Nothing fancy. You have to get the water from their well. Which is AWESOME! Haha I forgot to take a picture of it. Haha

There's a lot of locals and tourist on the other side of the beach. Good thing, that most of them are just for the day tour and so they left around noon. Yey! Ahaha

We roam around the beach and took a few more shots.

Low tide start from 2pm onwards. They're walking at the middle of the beach.
So everything has been settled. We're grilling our food and enjoying ourselves. Let's see the sunset.

 March 27, Sunday

The owner of our cottage informed us that there's a fiesta in Ilio-ilio and we can come and join her. So we decided to join and experience the fiesta there. I forgot to take pictures of the actual fiesta cause I was drunk hahaha

This is where they held the Program

They are starting to build some stalls here

If you are going to visit this place, take note: Bring a jacket!!! it's Cold here! You will feel that you are in Baguio! Haha The baranggay is located at a top of the mountain and you can see the beach surrounding it.

Anyway, here's a carabao. Haha
